Lill’s Salad Planter

This Salad Garden Planter gives you the makings for a great salad. Since bugs don’t like the smell of garlic, it also provides some protection from the pesky little critters.
- 1 14″ or larger pot of your choice (at least 12″ deep)
- 2 4″ Garlic Chives
- 1 4″ Chili Pepper
- 3 4″ Hobanero Pepper
- 1 4″ Tub Tomato (Cherry or Patio)
- 2 4″ Marigolds
- 1 Linder’s ProThrive Potting Mix
Fill container 1/2 full with potting soil. Plant your tomato in the middle. I suggest cherry or patio tomatoes because they have a compact growth habit. Add a little bit of soil around the tomato, still leaving space to plant the other plants. Place the peppers on opposite sides of the pot, same with the chives and marigolds. Fill in around the plants with soil. Water your bowl, place it in a sunny area and watch your salad fixings grow.
